Summer is in full swing, and there is no better way to celebrate the season than with good food, great music, and even better company!

On Sunday, August 16, 2026, Jesus House Toronto is opening up the parking lot for our highly anticipated Summer Family BBQ.

Whether you’ve been a part of "The Joy Centre" family for years, are a newcomer, or are just looking for a welcoming space to spend your Sunday afternoon, you are warmly invited. Come hungry, bring your family, and let's make some wonderful summer memories together!

What to Expect

1. A Short & Uplifting Service First

Before we fire up the grills, we’ll gather together for a special, shortened Sunday Service. It’s the perfect opportunity to feed your spirit with worship and a powerful word before we feed our bodies!

• Service Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

2. Sizzling Food & Sweet Fellowship

Starting right at 12:30 PM, the parking lot will transform into a festive summer hangout. We’ll have the grills going with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of spaces to sit, chat, laugh, and connect with one another.

3. "Casual Dress Code Sunday!"

Leave the formal wear at home! We want everyone to feel relaxed and ready to enjoy the outdoors. Wear your favorite summer casual attire—shorts, t-shirts, sneakers, and sundresses are highly encouraged!
