Day 1: Monday, December 29
Thanksgiving for God’s Faithfulness
Bible Texts:
Psalm 103:1–5; Lamentations 3:22–23; 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Introduction:
Thanksgiving opens the door to greater revelation of God’s goodness. As we reflect on the year, we acknowledge that it was not by our power or wisdom, but by God’s mercy and faithfulness that we are still standing. Gratitude positions us for increase, restoration, and divine favour in this season and the coming year.
Prayer Points:
- Father, I thank You for the gift of life and breath throughout this year. Thank You for sustaining me daily, even when I was unaware of Your hand (Psalm 3:5).
- Lord, thank You for Your mercies that were renewed every morning. Even when I failed, Your compassion did not fail me (Lamentations 3:22–23).
- I thank You for divine protection over my life, family, and loved ones. You preserved us from dangers seen and unseen (Psalm 91:1).
- Father, thank You for provision throughout the year. You made a way for me even in seasons of lack and uncertainty (Philippians 4:19).
- Lord, I thank You for victories both visible and invisible. Battles I never knew about, You fought on my behalf (Exodus 14:14).
- Thank You, Lord, for strength during difficult moments. When I felt weak, You renewed my strength and carried me through (Isaiah 40:31).
- Father, I thank You for prayers answered and prayers delayed. I trust that everything worked together for my good (Romans 8:28).
- Thank You for divine guidance throughout the year. You directed my steps and kept me from costly mistakes (Proverbs 3:5–6).
- Lord, I appreciate You for lessons learned through challenges. What the enemy meant for harm, You used to grow and refine me (James 1:2–3).
- Thank You for peace in times of uncertainty and confusion. You calmed my heart when circumstances were unstable (John 14:27).
- Father, thank You for spiritual growth and deeper understanding of You. I did not remain the same; I grew in faith and maturity (Colossians 2:6–7).
- Thank You for health, healing, and strength in my body. Where sickness tried to rise, Your healing power prevailed (Jeremiah 30:17).
- Lord, I thank You for family, friends, and supportive relationships. Thank You for those You used to encourage and stand with me (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10).
- Thank You for doors You opened and doors You mercifully closed. You protected my destiny by redirecting my path (Revelation 3:8).
- Father, I return all glory, honour, and praise to You alone. May my life continually testify of Your goodness (Psalm 115:1).
Day 2: Tuesday, December 30
